FAQ'S

How do I measure my pet's neck?

  • To properly measure your dog's neck for clothing, such as coats, jackets, shirts, sweaters, and dresses, gently wrap a soft tape measure around the base of their neck, just above where it meets the shoulders. Ensure the tape measure is held close to the fur, allowing space for about two fingers to slip underneath. It's important to avoid a tight fit, as this can be uncomfortable, while also ensuring the garment isn't too loose, as this can affect comfort and functionality.

How do I measure my pet's chest AKA Girth?

  • The chest girth measurement is taken at the widest part of your dog's body, including their rib cage, and is CRUCIAL when fitting them for garments. If the clothing cannot pass your dog's chest, it won't fit properly!
  • To measure, wrap the tape measure behind your dog's armpits, under their body, and around the rib cage, including over the shoulder blades. Ensure the tape wraps around the widest part of the chest and leave enough room for two fingers to fit comfortably underneath.

How Do I Measure My Pets Length?

  • The last measurement required when sizing a dog for clothing is their length, which is typically the simplest to obtain.
  • With your dog standing, extend the tape measure in a straight line from the base of their tail (where it connects to the body) to the bottom of their collar. This measurement represents your dog's length.

What is a Breakaway Collar?

  • A breakaway collar for cats is designed to release if your cat gets caught on something. This ensures your cat’s collar won’t snag and cause choking or neck trauma. These collars are especially beneficial for outdoor cats. The collar features a breakaway safety buckle that unsnaps or unclips when pulled with force. If your cat’s collar gets entangled, it will release, keeping their neck safe and preventing choking.

What are Quick Release Buckles?

  • Quick-release collars feature a convenient buckle that can be easily undone with a single click, allowing for quick removal in case of emergencies or when you need to take the collar off.
